Platform Notifications are pre-configured alert types tied to specific Cloudflare products. You enable the ones you care about and choose where they are delivered. Cloudflare evaluates the trigger conditions, covering events like DDoS attacks, certificate expirations, origin health changes, and billing thresholds. The notification types available to you depend on your Cloudflare plan and the products you use.

To define your own alerting conditions using SQL API queries, refer to Monitors.

Create a platform notification

1. Go to Alerts > Platform Notifications in the Cloudflare dashboard.
2. Select Create a Notification.
3. Choose the notification type from the categorized list and select Select.
4. Follow the wizard steps to configure the notification, name it, and add delivery destinations.
5. Select Create.
