# DOMParser: DOMParser() constructor



The **`DOMParser()`** constructor creates a new [`DOMParser`](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/DOMParser) object. This object can be used to parse the text of a document using the `parseFromString()` method.
